Road Trip in the USA...........................…

I have been on many road trips and have had a lot of things go wrong. Know how to change a flat tire first of all. We have parked in rest stop areas along the freeway for a few hours at a time and only once did a cop come and check on us. We just said that we were driving and were worried about falling asleep on the road so we pulled off for a quick shut eye to make sure we could continue on our way. So while I would no suggest sleeping in your car I at least suggest you pull off at a rest stop area and not just on the shoulder of a road. Also you probably know this but call your credit card company before you leave and let them know you will be out of the country or they might think someone stole your credit card and freeze your account. Also the road to Alaska when we drove at least had a lot of rocks in it so be careful or you might shatter your windshield (yep that happened to us). Good luck!
