New haircut?

so i have long hair bout 4 inches below my shoulders and layered. i was thinking about cutting it into a medium length bob. you know, about shoulder length. i've tried looking but i cant really find any good pics of wut a shoulder length bob looks like... isn't it kinda like one of nicole richie's hair cut? well idk. links would be good! thanks!
