Can someone help me and tell me what would be a good proposition for this persuasive speech?

Not just as Americans but as people we must unite to protect our earth. We must accept the consequences of our actions, such as global warming. The global warming rate in the world since 1800, the global average temperature has increased about 0.7 to 1.4 degrees. If a lack of helping the world with global warming has become an issue then why try to build energy efficient tools to help reestablish our world. Millions of people in the world sit around in their house instead of trying to make a dramatic change. We live in a environment in which we could do about anything to overcome this factor so instead of creating global warming we should make a stand and respect the work of others that try to overcome this big factor.
