Why is my room so dusty?

If you have recently had anywhere decorated or renovated than this can cause quite a bit of dust to be in the atmosphere for a while afterwards. Also my bedroom is always dusty as the attic door is in there and the attic is really dark and dusty so its hard to keep it in check as the dusk always seems to get in my room!
