What do you think about shaving thighs should I shave mine I'm 13 btw.?

Okay I just shaved my legs I mean just like a few sec. ago!My first time I did a good job!I mean I love them now so smooth and everything I didn't cut myself at all it didn't hurt I did it very careful I didn't no my hand was so gently when it comes to this stuff.But now I hate my thighs b/c there hairy and I wear shorts! And skirts!So should I shave my thighs my mom said I should never shave my thighs she is so omg,she won't even let me wear a bikini still she says it shows too much skin when I'm 21 I can like when I'm out of the house.Well she didn't let me shave my legs but I did I was embarred in school when i put my gym shorts on!HELP should I shave my thighs and why is my mom like this geez!!!!!
