Not to offend anyway: If the Bible came before the Qu'ran (Muslim bible) why does the qu'ran have stories?

or scriptures similar to the bible? Isn't that plagiarism? God does not change, so why is a new holy book or why was a new holy book needed to be rewritten? Not trying to offened anyone again please. Just a question.
