Help with english homework?

everyone in my cl got a word from the story we were reading and we have to draw the meaning of the word and the ex is "illuminate" would be in shiney letters with light bulbs for the l's and a sun sotting the i's. my word is florid from "The Lady or the Tiger" i think it means to elaboratly ornamented; flowery, showy; ornate if anyone could give an idea of how to draw the meaning it would be greatly appreciated
